This is a fragment of a larger diptych that was done on commission of Portofino Italy. After 9 months of work it was finished. I thought. 2 days later it started to crack...and crack..and crack some more. This is all that is left of the original. Smart glass people told me it was fired to many times and became incompatible. I started in again and eliminated the window sills, which was a complete firing cycle, and after 3 months of work it was finished and mounted in the clients home. Approx size with both panels would have been 48" w x 26" tall. This one is approx 24" x 24" mounted on a black panel. There have been a lot of positive comments.
