Red Day Lily
Red Day Lily, from our garden, approx 17" x 17"
part of a series of horticulture

White Rhododendrun
White Rhododendrun, from our garden
approx 17" x 17"

Bleed Hearts
Bleeding Hearts from our shade garden, about 17" x 17"
working at creating a more watercolor bleed to the edges

Trillium
Trillium, from our shade garden, a very special plant, about 17" x 17"

Gladiola
Gladiola, fron our garden.  Didn't quite make it as it got lost in the background.
I will try again later

Wild Iris
Wild Iris, from our yard.  approx 17" x 17" .  the purple hues are very difficult to alter to what my photo shows.  More work to be done with this.  I like the watercolor effect with the color bleed to the white background

Japanese Garden Waterfall
Japanese Garden scene from the Portland Garden.  Very difficult subject with the translucent waterfall coming through the fall foliage.  approx 20" x 20"

Reef
"Reef," a composite of reef life we have seen.  Approx 20" x 20".  This started when I noticed that some of my cut off glass pieces, when fired in a piled, resembled coral.  Then I went to work on composing the piece with 6 layers of glass, with elements on one or both sides of each layer.  As with all of the pieces, all the layers are fused together along with a border during the final 45 hr fire.  Hope for the best.
